Caitlyn Fastenau was recognized with the 2024 Ward Award for Excellence in the Study of the Biology of Aging from the UT Health San Antonio Integrated Biomedical Sciences Program Biology of Aging Discipline. The executive committee viewed Caitlyn’s “scientific impact, productivity and trajectory all as exemplary, and [she was] clearly deserving of this award”.
