Caitlyn Defends Her Thesis!

Dr. Caitlyn Fastenau successfully defended her Ph.D. thesis, entitled “The dynamic role of sialylation on microglia activity in Alzheimer’s Disease” on Wednesday, April 16th. A special thank you to Caitlyn’s thesis advisory committee: Dr. Sarah Hopp (thesis co-mentor), Dr. Xianlin Han, Dr. Kevin Koronowski, and Dr. Donna Wilcock. UT Health San Antonio Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences Hooding Ceremony and Commencement Ceremony (Caitlyn is the student speaker!) will be May 15th and May 17th, respectively. Proud of Caitlyn for this important milestone and achievement!
