Research: I am interested in the pathophysiology of normal brain aging and neurodegeneration. My current project investigates anti-inflammatory compounds and their effects in Drosophila melanogaster models of pathogenic Tau and Amyloid Beta. In the future, I hope to investigate modifiable risk factors of dementia and mild cognitive impairment to serve the growing aging population as a physician-scientist.
Interests: When I am not in the lab, I enjoy spending time with my family, going to concerts, thrifting, and exploring new local cafes and restaurants.
